iNTERSPARE will present Krantz K30 and Syncro at ITMA Asia 2025 in Singapore

The German textile machinery manufacturer iNTERSPARE Textilmaschinen will present its well-known ARTOS, BABCOCK (BTM), and Krantz product lines at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025. Visitors can find the company at the joint VDMA stand in Hall 7, Stand A104, where the focus will be on the latest developments of the Krantz Syncro shrink dryer and the Krantz K30 stenter frame.

To demonstrate the advantages of its systems, iNTERSPARE will also showcase the Econ-Air airflow technology. This system helps achieve high-quality drying results by ensuring color fastness, dimensional stability, and excellent fabric handle—qualities that are valued by mills worldwide.

Strong demand from India

In recent years, iNTERSPARE has strengthened its position as a trusted manufacturer of textile finishing machines. Production of new Krantz, Artos, and Babcock machines in Reinbek, Germany, ensures consistently high quality.

The company recently secured a large order from a major Indian customer: four Krantz K30 8-field stenter frames and three Krantz Syncro dryers. Delivery has already begun, with the order expected to be completed by mid-2026.

“Our goal has always been to carry forward the tradition of Krantz, Artos, and Babcock,” says Managing Director Dirk Polchow. “Textile finishers know these machines for their reliability and durability—some are still running productively after more than 50 years.”

Focus on Asia

For iNTERSPARE, ITMA Asia in Singapore is a key platform to meet customers from important markets such as India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. These countries have become central to the company’s growth, supported by local partners like GLOBAL in India.

Dirk Polchow notes, “We want to continue building on our success in these markets, and we are even considering expanding production capacity with a new facility.”

Econ-Air for energy savings

The Econ-Air airflow system, originally patented by Babcock, is one of the features that set iNTERSPARE’s machines apart. It ensures efficient energy use by guiding heated air through the fabric in a way that maximizes drying while minimizing waste. This design reduces the need for additional steam spraying devices and helps lower CO2 emissions.

Energy loss is further reduced through multi-layer insulation panels with Rockwool mats, designed to prevent shrinkage and heat bridges.

Krantz Syncro and K30 upgrades

The Syncro dryer has been further optimized with the latest motors, Lenze inverters, and expanded data management features. Additions include improved software, an updated router, and an automatic filter belt cleaning system with fluff extraction.

The Krantz K30 stenter frame continues to be valued for its strong design, with new upgrades focused on energy efficiency and digital integration.

Modernisation and service

Thousands of ARTOS, BABCOCK, and Krantz machines are still in operation worldwide. iNTERSPARE offers retrofit and modernization packages to extend their lifespan and adapt them to today’s requirements. Options include updated control systems, energy-saving modules, and software enhancements.
