INDA and AFS open call for conference presentations for Advances in Filtration Conference 2026

INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, together with the American Filtration and Separations Society (AFS), has announced a call for presentations for the Advances in Filtration Conference. The conference will take place on October 28–29, 2026, as part of FiltXPO™ 2026 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The two-day technical conference is designed for professionals working across the filtration value chain. Industry experts, researchers, academics, and technology developers are invited to submit abstracts that reflect original research, applied studies, and practical developments in filtration. The program aims to support technical exchange and collaboration across sectors where filtration plays a critical role.
Abstract submissions now open
Abstract submissions are now being accepted through the AFS website. Interested participants can submit their proposals and review detailed guidelines at:
https://sla.yt/e/afs-filtxpo26
All abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Planning Committee. Presentation formats will be assigned based on content quality and overall program balance.
Key focus areas
The 2026 conference will highlight developments and challenges across several priority topics, including:
- Artificial intelligence applications in filtration and data center environments
- Filtration needs linked to e-mobility and battery technologies
- Nonwoven media for water treatment and PFAS filtration
- Sustainability and environmental considerations in filtration systems
These focus areas reflect growing technical demands across energy, water, electronics, and environmental protection markets.
Oral presentations and technical posters
The conference program will feature both oral presentations and technical poster sessions. Oral and poster contributions are considered equally important to the technical program.
Following strong engagement at FiltXPO 2025, technical posters will again provide a platform for detailed research findings, early-stage concepts, and applied studies. This format offers opportunities for research institutions, subject matter experts, and emerging professionals to engage directly with attendees.
Submission deadline and contact details
Abstracts must be submitted by April 3, 2026. Authors will be notified following the peer-review process.
