Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Autumn 2026 set to bring the global textile industry together

Every year, the global textile calendar includes a handful of events that influence sourcing decisions, business partnerships and product development for the months ahead. Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Autumn has long been one of those meeting points. From 25–27 August 2026, the exhibition will once again welcome manufacturers, brands, designers, buyers and suppliers to the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), offering a broad view of the international textile and apparel supply chain.

Organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, and the China Textile Information Centre, the exhibition is expected to attract thousands of exhibitors and visitors from around the world. As one of the largest trade fairs for apparel textiles and accessories, it will provide opportunities to explore new materials, sourcing options and business partnerships across multiple market segments.

Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics was a huge success in 2025 as exhibitors and visitors from all around the world were present at the esteemed autumn exhibition.

  • 240,000 square metres of exhibition space
  • Over 3,700 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions
  • Over 100,000 visitors from 123 countries and regions

The exhibition floor will feature suppliers of apparel fabrics, functional textiles, accessories, fibres, yarns and textile-related services. Buyers will have access to manufacturers serving fashion, sportswear, casualwear, formalwear, outdoor clothing and performance applications. Companies offering sustainable materials, recycled fibres, certified fabrics and lower-impact production solutions are also expected to have a strong presence, reflecting the growing demand for responsible sourcing across global supply chains.

Sustainability is likely to remain a key discussion point throughout the event. Brands and manufacturers continue to respond to changing regulations, customer expectations and traceability requirements. Visitors will have the opportunity to examine certified materials, circular textile solutions and production practices designed to support environmental and compliance goals. The exhibition is also expected to showcase developments in digital sourcing, textile testing, quality assurance and supply chain transparency.

Beyond the exhibition halls, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Autumn 2026 will host a series of seminars, forums and trend presentations. Industry experts, researchers and business leaders are expected to discuss market developments, consumer preferences, material trends and sourcing strategies. These sessions will offer practical insights for companies navigating changing trade conditions and evolving customer demand.

The fair’s international participation remains one of its defining strengths. Country and regional pavilions are expected to bring together suppliers from Asia, Europe and other major textile-producing regions, allowing buyers to compare products, production capabilities and sourcing options in one location. This international mix will continue to support cross-border business relationships and strengthen connections between manufacturers and global brands.

As the textile industry prepares for another year of changing market conditions, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Autumn 2026 is expected to provide a timely platform for business discussions, sourcing decisions and knowledge exchange. The event will once again reflect the industry’s ability to adapt, connect markets and support collaboration across the global textile value chain.
