Rieter to present fully automated spinning mill at ITMA Asia 2025
Rieter will showcase its latest textile machinery and digital solutions at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 in Singapore from October 28 to 31, in Hall 3, Stand A201b. The company is focusing on automation, energy efficiency, and recycled yarn technologies as part of its long-term vision for a fully automated spinning mill.
Automation and digital tools
The company is introducing step-by-step solutions for automation in ring and compact yarn production. These include automated bale and can transport, as well as packaging systems for steaming, palletizing, and labeling. On the digital side, Rieter’s ESSENTIAL modules provide data-driven insights for both managers and operators, helping them optimize production.
OMEGAlap E 40
The new combing preparation machine delivers 800 kg per hour, a 33% increase over its predecessor. It also reduces energy use by 30% and compressed air consumption by 63%. Maintenance has been simplified, making the machine easier to operate.
NEO-BD winding machine
The NEO-BD doubles the production speed of the previous model while improving package quality. Operators can set and reproduce yarn length, package density, and weight with high accuracy.
Air-jet spinning J 70
Designed for carded cotton, the J 70 uses a new twist element that increases production speed and improves raw material utilization. It can also be applied to other fiber types.
Energy-saving spindle eNASA
Novibra’s eNASA spindle reduces power consumption by 2% to 4% compared to conventional spindles, especially at high speeds. It is compatible with all Novibra clamping crowns.
Recycled yarn expertise
Rieter is working with partners to expand the use of recycled fibers in ring yarn. A new publication highlights how synthetic cellulosic fibers can raise the recycled content in yarn production.
Webshop for spare parts
The company has launched a new online platform for ordering spare parts, upgrades, and retrofit solutions. The webshop is designed to simplify procurement and reduce downtime for spinning mills.
