The first denim garments made with Recover™ recycled cotton fibers from the company’s new facility in Vietnam are set to hit the market soon. The pieces are being developed in partnership with Berlin-based brand Dawn Denim, known for its focus on sustainability, transparency, and ethical production since its founding in 2015.
Material innovation with measurable savings
The upcoming Spring/Summer 2026 collection will include several denim styles produced with a fiber blend that combines Recover™ recycled cotton and other performance fibers. The recycled cotton is sourced directly from post-industrial textile waste at Recover’s Vietnam factory.
Replacing conventional cotton with Recover™ recycled cotton has a direct environmental benefit. According to Recover’s Life Cycle Assessment data (2022, 2025), verified by EcoReview, the switch can cut water use by up to 99.9% and reduce CO₂ emissions by as much as 93%.
One of the highlighted pieces from the line is CELESTIAL, a slim flared women’s jean produced in Vietnam under the Dawn Denim x Recover collaboration.
Local sourcing and faster production
By developing and producing these denim pieces in Vietnam, Dawn Denim shows how localized supply chains can speed up development while keeping production close to the source of recycled fibers. This approach strengthens the brand’s circular model and reduces the need for long-distance transport.
The partnership launch was accompanied by a campaign shot inside the Recover™ Vietnam facility, blending the industrial setting with the aesthetics of denim to highlight the journey from textile waste to finished jeans.
The collection is expected to be available in time for Spring/Summer 2026.
