Kingpins Show Amsterdam 2026: The world’s denim community convenes

In just two days’ time, Amsterdam will once again become the beating heart of the global denim trade. The Kingpins Show – the world’s foremost gathering of denim suppliers, mills, chemical innovators, and fashion brands – opens its spring edition at Sugar Factory on April 15 and 16, 2026, and the industry is ready.

This year’s show is already sold out, a testament to the enduring pull of the Kingpins platform. Doors open early at 9:30am on the first day, and the programme kicks off at 10:30am with the “Be Disobedient” trend forecast – setting the tone for a show that has long championed fresh thinking over safe convention.

Across every stage of the supply chain  from fiber and dyeing to finishing, circularity, and digital design — there are new developments reinventing how denim is made.”

— Vivian Wang, CEO, Kingpins Show

The Jeanius Hub expands

One of the headline additions for this edition of the Kingpins Show is an expanded Jeanius Hub on the second floor of SugarFactory. Launched last year as a destination for discovery, the section brings together a curated blend of returning companies and first-time exhibitors, covering the full arc of denim innovation — from raw fibre and dyeing through to circularity and digital design tools.

Denim Talks: a packed programme

The Denim Talks seminar series is arguably the Kingpins Show’s most intellectually charged feature, and this spring’s line-up does not disappoint. Sessions span artificial intelligence in the supply chain, sustainable finishing techniques, and the aesthetics of wear and damage.

Honouring a legend

Perhaps the most emotionally resonant moment of the Kingpins Show will come at 4pm on April 15 — a tribute session dedicated to Adriano Goldschmied, the visionary Italian denim maker widely credited with shaping modern premium jeans. Goldschmied’s influence on the industry spans decades, and the Kingpins team has made his remembrance a centrepiece of this edition.

A global industry under one roof

Past editions of the Kingpins Show have drawn close to 1,200 attendees from over 40 countries, with major brands including Levi’s, H&M, Ganni, Adidas, Hugo Boss, and Inditex among past participants. The spring 2026 show is expected to maintain that global scale, with Kingpins CEO Vivian Wang noting a drive to bring more higher-end and designer labels into the fold — reinforcing the show’s positioning as the world’s premier meeting place for serious denim professionals.

For those who cannot make it to Amsterdam this week, a second edition of the Kingpins Show Amsterdam is scheduled for October 14–15, 2026 also at SugarFactory. The show then travels to Hangzhou, China (May 21–22) and New York (July 22–23) before the year is out.
