Groz-Beckert highlights smart textile solutions at Techtextil 2026

Groz-Beckert wrapped up a strong presence at Techtextil 2026, held from April 21 to 24 in Frankfurt, where the company presented its latest developments for the technical textile industry at Hall 12, Booth B90. Across knitting, weaving, nonwovens, and sewing, the exhibition focused on practical solutions designed to improve precision, efficiency, and process reliability.
In the knitting segment, Groz-Beckert showcased its warp knitting module portfolio, demonstrating how precisely coordinated components can help reduce setup times, minimize machine downtime, and maintain stable production performance. The solutions drew particular attention for their suitability in fine-gauge applications, where accuracy remains essential.
The weaving product area featured high-performance technical reeds developed for demanding technical fabric production. Designed for extremely high mesh counts, these reeds support reliable manufacturing of both wire and synthetic materials while maintaining fabric consistency over extended production cycles. The display was supported by Groz-Beckert’s range of healds and drop wires tailored for diverse technical applications.
In nonwovens, the company introduced several developments aimed at improving workflow efficiency. A newly developed needle designed to reduce insertion and removal time stood out for its potential to extend needle board service life and lower the risk of bending. The company also highlighted its Needle Dispenser, a digital tool for automated needle board management that supports smoother production planning. Additional exhibits included the CB-barb felting needle, the staple fiber needle punch line, and laboratory services such as fiber analysis.
The sewing segment attracted strong interest with the presentation of INH 2.0 (Ideal Needle Handling), Groz-Beckert’s updated digital quality management system. The platform enables complete tracking of the needle lifecycle, from stock management to disposal, while new modules improve automation and process transparency.

Alongside this, Groz-Beckert presented its SAN needle series for technical and delicate sewing applications, as well as the Litespeed needle developed for high-speed, heat-intensive sewing processes.
A key highlight of the booth was the interactive 360-degree presentation of Groz-Beckert’s Technology and Development Center (TEZ), offering visitors insight into the company’s development capabilities and technical support services.
The successful showcase reflected Groz-Beckert’s continued focus on practical engineering solutions that address the evolving needs of technical textile manufacturers worldwide.
