Denim brand G-STAR RAW expands its second-hand platform to France, Germany, & Belgium

Denim brand G‑STAR has officially announced the expansion of its second-hand resale platform “G‑STAR REWEAR” to three new European markets (France, Germany and Belgium). The company forms an important part of the Repair–Rewear–Recycle strategy, aiming to extend the life of clothing, reduce waste, and keep denim from ending up in landfills.

Customers can buy and sell G-STAR clothing through the rewear.g-star.com portal. When customers trade in their used items, they are given a voucher that can later be used for second-hand purchases, extending the lifespan of each garment and reducing waste in landfills.

At G-STAR RAW, we design products to last. That’s why we want to extend the life cycle of each garment as easily as possible. This expansion is the next step in our journey towards greater circularity.

FAUME supports G-STAR’s Rewire platform in establishing a resale ecosystem in each market. This move is in line with G-STAR RAW’s broader sustainability efforts “RAW Responsibility” (circular design, free repair services through certified tailors, and “Return Your Denim” recycling).

The brand already offers a “Return Your Denim” initiative for denim in multiple markets in several countries. G-STAR RAW’s new initiative enables the resale of its clothing in multiple European markets.
