Circulose adds global fashion brands as production restart nears
Circular pulp producer Circulose has expanded its partner network by adding four new fashion brands as the company prepares to restart large-scale textile-to-textile recycling operations in Sweden later this year.
The company announced that Eileen Fisher, Marimekko, Samsøe Samsøe, and King Louie have joined its growing network of brand partners. The move increases the number of fashion companies integrating Circulose pulp into their collections and long-term sourcing strategies.

Circulose produces a dissolving pulp made from discarded cotton-rich textiles. The material can be converted into new man-made cellulosic fibers, supporting the transition toward a more circular textile industry and reducing dependence on virgin raw materials.
The latest partnerships come as Circulose continues its recovery following the restructuring of the former Renewcell business. The company was acquired by investment firm Altor and has spent the past year rebuilding operations and strengthening commercial relationships across the fashion value chain.
Circulose is also moving forward with plans to restart commercial production at its Ortviken facility in Sundsvall, Sweden, during the fourth quarter of 2026. The facility is expected to play a key role in scaling textile-to-textile recycling and supplying recycled pulp to fiber manufacturers and apparel brands worldwide.
The addition of new partners signals continued industry interest in circular materials despite ongoing market challenges. As regulatory pressure and sustainability commitments increase across global fashion supply chains, demand for recycled textile feedstocks is expected to grow.
