Circ and PYRATEX expand partnership to scale circular textiles in Europe

Circ, a leader in textile-to-textile recycling, and PYRATEX, a next-gen textile R&D company, are deepening their collaboration to bring recycled fibers into mainstream fabric production. The move comes as demand grows across the market for scalable and genuinely circular textile solutions.

Through new volume commitments, PYRATEX will integrate Circ’s recycled fibers into its fabric collections, positioning the company as Circ’s strategic European partner for circular knitted fabrics and knitwear garments. Together, they aim to support global brands with high-performance fabrics that reduce reliance on virgin materials.

The two companies have been working together for three years. PYRATEX has already developed fabrics using Circ’s recycled polyester and lyocell fibers and is now running bulk productions for early clients, with launches expected soon. With Circ’s upcoming facility in France, PYRATEX is preparing to expand volumes, making recycled polyester and lyocell viable replacements for some of the most widely used fibers in the industry.

Pyratex has built a reputation for turning bold ideas into real, scalable fabric solutions. Their early partnership and continued investment in Circ fibers reflects a deeper shift as long-term commitments are taking shape to support circularity at industrial scale.

Peter Majeranowski, CEO of Circ

Circ’s technology gives us what the industry desperately needs: true recycled fibers of fashion’s most widely used textiles. “Through this partnership, we can integrate these solutions directly into our textile formulas, delivering the quality, performance, and design flexibility that brands need while reducing impact at scale.

Regina Polanco, CEO of PYRATEX

The collaboration reflects a shared mission to replace virgin fibers with high-quality circular alternatives, without compromising on look, feel, or function.

Circ and PYRATEX will showcase their joint progress during a Textile Exchange field trip in Portugal on October 17, where brands will see circular fiber production in action and learn how these materials can be integrated into future collections.
