BW Converting presented sustainable textile finishing solutions at Techtextil India 2025

BW Converting, under its Baldwin brand, presented its sustainable textile finishing technologies at Techtextil India 2025, held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai from November 19–21. The company will partner with A.T.E. Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., its India representative, to introduce its TexCoat® G4 precision spray finishing system.
At the A.T.E. booth, visitors will have the opportunity to learn how the TexCoat® G4 can help textile manufacturers reduce chemical waste, minimize water usage, and lower energy consumption—all while improving product quality and process control. The system is designed to address the growing demand for sustainability in the textile industry, particularly in India, one of the most dynamic and fast-growing textile markets in the world.
Yiannis Vasilonikolos, Global Sales Leader for Textiles at BW Converting, commented, “India is a key market for textile manufacturing, and through our partnership with A.T.E., we are excited to share how the TexCoat G4 can help local mills achieve both sustainability and profitability.”
The TexCoat® G4 uses Precision Application Technology (PAT) to apply finishing chemicals accurately to the fabric, ensuring zero contamination, overspray, or dilution. By eliminating the need for traditional pad baths and reducing wet pick-up by up to 50%, the system helps textile producers achieve faster throughput, greater consistency, and significant resource savings.
Rick Stanford, Vice President of Global Business Development, Textiles at BW Converting, added, “Technical textiles and home furnishings are growing sectors in India, and mills are focusing more on efficiency and sustainability. Our precision spray technology helps manufacturers optimize production, cut costs, and reduce their environmental impact.”
Building on the success of its TexCoat® platform, BW Converting recently launched the TexChroma digital spray dyeing system, which will also be highlighted at the event. The new system expands BW Converting’s range of sustainable textile processing solutions, catering to India’s expanding technical textiles market.
Throughout the event, BW Converting’s team, alongside representatives from A.T.E., will be available to discuss how TexCoat® G4 and other advanced finishing technologies can support India’s growing demand for efficient, sustainable textile production.
Techtextil India 2025 promises to be a key event for industry professionals looking to stay ahead of trends in textile technology and sustainability.
