Suominen names Francois Guetat as new Chief Operating Officer

Suominen has appointed Francois Guetat, M.Eng., as its new Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Suominen Leadership Team.

Guetat brings more than twenty years of global experience across operations, supply chain, and manufacturing excellence. Before joining Suominen, he served as Senior Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain at Kalmar, overseeing sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and strategic functions. His professional journey also includes 22 years at Volvo, where he held key leadership roles in Sweden, the United States, and Poland.

I’m pleased to welcome Francois to our team,” said Charles Héaulmé, President and CEO of Suominen. “He has consistently driven results through continuous improvement, a strong focus on quality, safety, and sustainability, and excellent people leadership.

Suominen also announced that Darryl Fournier, the current Chief Operating Officer, will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities. He will continue with Suominen until the end of January 2026, supporting strategic projects during the transition.
