Altoteks upgrades dyeing and finishing apabilities with Monforts Thermex Technology
Altoteks, a leading textile company based in Çorlu, Turkey, has made significant strides in enhancing its dyeing and finishing operations with the installation of a new Thermex continuous dyeing range. With a longstanding partnership with Monforts dating back to 1996, Altoteks now has an annual dyeing and printing capacity of 18 million meters. The plant also houses two existing Monfortex ranges, a Montex finishing range, and additional related equipment.
Specializing in High-Performance Fabrics
Altoteks excels in dyeing and finishing specialized fabrics, including para and meta-aramid fibers, blends of polycotton and nylon, ripstop camouflage materials, and modacrylic fabrics. The company’s products are tailored to meet the rigorous standards of military and civil defense services.

The Role of Econtrol® Technology
The new two-meter-wide Thermex line at Altoteks is equipped with three linked Thermex units for continuous dyeing and thermosoling, along with gas-powered infrared predryers that provide high evaporation rates in a minimal space. The line also features cold pad batch (CPB) winding. As demand grows for smaller lot sizes per color in continuous dyeing, the Econtrol® process developed by Monforts and Dystar offers a streamlined, economical solution. The one-pass pad-dry-wash off continuous dyeing process allows for drying in a hot flue at 120-130°C with controlled humidity, achieving fixation in just two to three minutes.
Mehmet Ucar highlights the significant benefits of Econtrol®: “It provides a considerable advantage by allowing faster and more cost-effective production in high-volume reactive dyeing.” The installation of the new machine has enhanced production speed, quality, and operational efficiency for Altoteks.
