Nordstrom Rack to open new store in Marlton, New Jersey in fall 2026
Nordstrom, Inc. has announced plans to open a new Nordstrom Rack store in Marlton, New Jersey, continuing its steady expansion across the Philadelphia-area market. The Seattle-based fashion retailer expects the location to open in fall 2026.
The 30,000-square-foot store will be located at Willow Ridge Plaza, a well-established shopping center in Marlton that serves as a retail hub for the surrounding community. The center includes a mix of national brands and everyday essentials such as Rastelli’s Market Fresh, Ulta, Marshalls, Old Navy, Skechers, Five Below, and OshKosh, among others.
“We look forward to being a part of the Marlton community and serving our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices,” said Gemma Lionello, President of Nordstrom Rack. She added that the new store will help strengthen the company’s presence in the Philadelphia market while introducing more customers to the Nordstrom brand.
The Marlton location will offer several services designed for convenience, including online order pickup for purchases made through Nordstrom.com and NordstromRack.com, along with easy in-store returns. These services reflect how off-price retail continues to blend physical stores with digital shopping habits.
Sean McCloskey, CEO of Penn Group of Companies, which owns and manages Willow Ridge Plaza, welcomed the announcement. He said Nordstrom Rack will be a strong fit alongside the center’s existing tenants, noting that Willow Ridge Plaza has remained one of southern New Jersey’s leading shopping destinations for more than 30 years.
Nordstrom Rack is the off-price division of Nordstrom, Inc., offering savings of up to 70 percent on apparel, shoes, accessories, beauty products, and home décor. The banner also plays a key role in attracting new customers to the broader Nordstrom business.
With this opening, Nordstrom will continue to grow its physical footprint and economic presence in New Jersey. The company currently operates four Nordstrom stores and nine Nordstrom Rack locations across the state, supporting more than 1,700 jobs. The Marlton store adds another step in that ongoing expansion.
