Vandewiele introduces cabler and twister for DTY, ATY and FDY yarns

Vandewiele announces the launch of its new cabler and twister technology, marking a significant expansion of its product portfolio in support of the carpet industry.
This new solution is specifically designed for finer denier yarns such as DTY (Draw Textured Yarn), ATY (Air Textured Yarn), and FDY (Fully Drawn Yarn), which are increasingly used in carpet manufacturing to achieve enhanced softness, premium touch, and visual appeal. These yarns complement traditional BCF yarns and enable manufacturers to develop more sophisticated and high-value carpet products.
With this innovation, Vandewiele addresses a previously unmet need in the carpet sector. The cabler and twister system allows producers to efficiently process finer dtex yarns in a single-stage operation, improving production flexibility while optimizing cost efficiency and maintaining high quality standards.
By introducing this technology, Vandewiele continues to strengthen its position as a key partner for carpet manufacturers world-wide, supporting their transition toward more advanced and differentiated product offerings. With this development, Vandewiele continues its growth in supporting the carpet industry. This new solution enables our customers to expand their product range and respond to evolving market demands for more premium and innovative carpet solutions.
Design without limits: Next-gen cut & loop velvet
Vandewiele brings its proven 3-rapier technology from carpet weaving into the velvet sector, achieving up to 10× higher pro-ductivity than traditional cut & loop velvet looms. The advanced VSi23 (servo dobby) and VSi33 (jacquard) machines enable production of denser fabrics and higher pile heights, expanding creative possibilities for high-end furniture, home textiles, and technical applications. These machines support a wide range of yarns, including heat-sensitive fibers like PP and PET, and can efficiently produce both luxury velvets and standard-quality fabrics.

Shaping the future of jacquard weaving

At Bonas, as the market leader, innovation is driven by listening to our customers and anticipating market needs. As markets are rapidly changing, future-proof digital machines with maximum weaving design flexibility are paramount. The Bonas Ji jacquard range now combines top speed with hook capacities from 2,688 to 17,280. As such, Bonas continues to strengthen its leading position in markets such as fashion, home textiles, flooring, and technical textiles. The most compact jacquard range available, with the least mass to drive, results in low power consumption. We are proud to unveil the JiM, the latest addition to our Ji series, engineered for precision, performance, and flexibility, covering the range of 6,144 to 7,680 hooks. Low energy con-sumption, even at high-speed weaving, is additionally empha-sized across the Ji range.

Clear and reliable bi-directional data communication is made possible by the fast-responding and easy-to-use Ce controller. Features such as Preventive Maintenance and Smart Energy Management are readily available. Bonas remains the only jacquard supplier allowing 100% diag-nostics of the selection system, the heart of jacquard weaving. Connectivity, reliability, high productivity, high efficiency, and maximum flexibility are all delivered with the lowest total energy consumption. Why settle for less when you can weave with the best?
Driving digitalization, efficiency, and smart manu-facturing across textiles and carpets

A core highlight at ITM 2026 is BMSvision’s integrated cloud-edge MES architecture, designed to give manufacturers real-time visibility and immediate operational impact. By com-bining the reliability of on-premise data collection with the scal-ability of cloud computing, BMSvision enables faster updates, deeper analytics, and seamless access to actionable insights. This hybrid approach strengthens decision-making on the shop floor and supports continuous improvement across production, planning and energy use.

Elevate planning efficiency with AI-backed aps
BMSvision also highlights its next-generation Advanced Plan-ning and Scheduling (APS) solution. This newly developed APS feature is an evolution built on top of their world-class planning tool, trusted for decades across the industry. This newly devel-oped APS extension combines AI-drivenintelligence with de-cades of human practical know-how of real factory experts. The result is a smarter, more adaptive planning engine that reduces bottlenecks, improves delivery performance, and supports decision-making.

Reliable and robust data capture
For the knitting sector, BMSvision introduces its new DU3 data capturing unit, specifically engineered for circular knitting envi-ronments. The new DU3 delivers robust Bluetooth data capture
with fast installation, and strong signal stability. It enables pre-cise monitoring of machine performance, supporting manufac-turers in reducing downtime, improving fabric quality, and
achieving measurable efficiency gains.
BMSvision also enters ITM 2026 on a strong trajectory in the carpet manufacturing market, where the company is experien-cing rapid growth. With its Connect MES solutions now suc-cessfully deployed in more carpet mills worldwide, BMSvision is expanding its footprint through advanced monitoring, quality optimization, and energy efficiency tool tailored to the unique needs of carpet producers. This momentum reflects the indus-try’s rising demand for connected, automated, and
insight driven operations, and BMSvision’s proven ability to deliver them. Across all product lines, BMSvision remains com-mitted to empowering manufacturers with intelligent technol-ogies that elevate productivity and support long-term compet-itiveness. At ITM Turkey, visitors can experience firsthand how BMSvision is shaping the future of digital manufacturing.
