Recover appoints Enes Adak and Fehmi Yüksel as Co-CEOs
Recover™, a global producer of recycled cotton fibers and circular material solutions, has appointed Enes Adak and Fehmi Yüksel as Co-Chief Executive Officers. The leadership change comes as the company prepares for its next stage of growth, with a focus on scaling operations, strengthening customer support and expanding its global platform.
Adak and Yüksel will work with Recover’s wider executive leadership team to strengthen relationships across the textile value chain and support brands and manufacturers in adopting recycled cotton at scale.
Their priorities will include improving customer service, strengthening operational delivery, deepening partnerships across the supply chain and expanding Recover’s presence across key textile manufacturing markets.
Adak to lead product, commercial and operations
Alongside his new role as Co-CEO, Enes Adak will continue serving as Recover’s Chief Product Officer. He will oversee the company’s Product, Commercial and Operations functions.
His responsibilities include sales, product development, technology, global sourcing, supply chain and production.
Adak brings nearly two decades of international leadership experience across the consumer and retail sectors. His background covers commercial operations, product, sourcing, supply chain, manufacturing and operations.
Before joining Recover, he held senior positions at Li & Fung and Forever 21, part of SPARC Group. His experience spans Asia, Europe and the United States, where he worked with global brands, retailers and manufacturing partners.
“As Recover™ enters its next phase, our focus is on turning the strong foundation we have built into greater scale and commercial impact,” said Adak. “That means delivering consistently for our customers, strengthening our global supply chain and partnerships, and making it easier for brands and manufacturers to adopt recycled cotton at meaningful scale. We have a significant opportunity ahead of us, and execution will be key.”
Yüksel to focus on strategy and business growth
Fehmi Yüksel will continue as Recover’s Chief Financial Officer while taking on the Co-CEO role. His responsibilities will include strategic direction, integrated scaling, stakeholder engagement and long-term growth initiatives.
Yüksel has more than 15 years of experience in strategy, transformation, sustainability and business development. Before joining Recover, he held leadership positions at McKinsey & Company, working across its Transformation and Sustainability practices.
During his career, Yüksel led business transformation and value creation programs across the materials, industrial and consumer goods sectors. His work included growth strategy, operational scaling, circular transformation and green business development. He has also co-founded and advised several startups.
“As the textile industry accelerates its circular transition, demand for integrated recycled solutions is reaching a new level,” said Yüksel. “Recover™ is uniquely positioned to support its partners to scale circularity with confidence. Our priority is to strengthen partnerships across the industry, accelerate the adoption of recycled cotton at scale, expand our global platform, and continue building a business that creates long-term value for customers, shareholders and partners.”
A focus on scaling recycled cotton
Recover has developed a global production network across major textile manufacturing regions and works with more than 100 supply chain partners.
The company is focused on increasing the use of recycled cotton in textile production while supporting brands and manufacturers with consistent fiber supply and circular material solutions.
According to Recover, its recycled cotton fiber was used in more than 200 million garments last year. The figure highlights the growing role of recycled materials in commercial textile production and the scale of the company’s existing network.
Hans Ploos van Amstel, Executive Chairman of Recover, said the new co-CEO structure brings together Adak’s operational and product expertise with Yüksel’s experience in strategy, finance and business transformation.
“Recover™ has built a strong foundation, combining scaled production capabilities, trusted relationships with leading brands and retailers, and a differentiated position in the growing recycled cotton market,” said Ploos van Amstel.
He added that the leadership structure is intended to accelerate execution, strengthen partnerships and support Recover’s global expansion.
With Adak overseeing product, commercial and operational functions and Yüksel continuing to lead finance and strategic growth, Recover is positioning its leadership team around the demands of a larger recycled cotton business. The company’s next phase will center on supply chain execution, customer partnerships and wider adoption of recycled cotton across the textile industry.
