Color Service to showcase COLOR DYEING and SMP at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 in Singapore
Automation and precision are becoming essential in textile laboratories as production speeds up and quality requirements grow. To meet these demands, Color Service, a global leader in automatic dosing systems for powders and liquids, will showcase its latest solutions at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025, held from October 28 to 31 in Singapore. Visitors can find the company in Hall 8, booth C304.
Settimo Barausse, Sales Manager at Color Service, highlights the role of these technologies: “With COLOR DYEING and SMP, Color Service continues to lead the way in laboratory automation. These systems not only enhance dyeing quality and reproducibility but also reduce manual operations, minimize errors, and increase overall lab efficiency.”
SMP – precision in solution preparation
SMP is designed for laboratories that require reliable and consistent dye solutions. It uses independent conic-bottom dissolvers to prepare solutions with concentrations up to 80 g/l, ensuring proper dissolution even with challenging dye powders.
The system works continuously, preparing fresh solutions while dispensing into dye vessels. This dual function increases lab throughput and saves time. Automatic freshness checks run even overnight, removing the need for constant supervision.
Another feature is the self-cleaning bottles, which undergo automatic washing cycles to prevent contamination and ensure solution purity. SMP also allows precise chemical additions, such as acids or dispersing agents, eliminating manual dosing altogether.
COLOR DYEING – flexible dyeing for every fiber
COLOR DYEING is a modular system created for laboratory dyeing at both high and low temperatures. It is suitable for natural, synthetic, and blended fibers. The system operates in groups of five dyeing units, each functioning independently with its own insulation, thermostat, and dyeing cycle. This setup allows multiple dyeings to run at once under different parameters.

Each unit handles dyebath volumes from 200 cc to 600 cc, reaching temperatures up to 135°C. The system uses an indirect water cooling method, regulated by a solenoid valve, to ensure fast and uniform heating and cooling.
The material holder basket inside each unit is built from AISI 316 stainless steel and uses a magnetic drive rotation system instead of mechanical seals. This design ensures smooth agitation during dyeing, reduces maintenance needs, and extends the system’s service life.
Experience automation in action
Visitors to ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 will have the opportunity to see both SMP and COLOR DYEING in operation. Color Service invites professionals from across the textile sector to explore how these systems can help make laboratories more efficient, accurate, and consistent in their results.
