At this year’s ITM 2026 exhibition in Istanbul, KARL MAYER will present a wide range of solutions for warp knitting, warp preparation, and technical textiles. From June 9 to 13, visitors at Booth 303 A in Hall 3 of the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center will get a closer look at technologies designed to help manufacturers improve efficiency and respond to changing market demands.
The company’s presentation focuses on practical production solutions, textile developments for the Turkish market, and machinery aimed at improving flexibility during a challenging business period for the textile industry.

According to him, alongside Turkish textile manufacturers, the company also expects strong visitor participation from Egypt, reflecting the ongoing shift in the regional textile value chain.
HKS 4-M EL ECO to run live at the show
One of the key attractions at the booth will be the live demonstration of the HKS 4-M EL ECO. The machine is built for flexible production and quick response to fashion trends while maintaining cost efficiency.
At ITM 2026, the machine will produce a textured outerwear fabric featuring a crepe-on-crepe effect. The design combines a crinkled fabric ground with textile strips that create an appliqué-like appearance.
The machine is particularly suitable for fashion manufacturers looking to adapt quickly to new fabric and style requirements.
Textile developments tailored for the Turkish market
KARL MAYER will also showcase a textile innovation display featuring tricot fabrics, lace developments, and fabrics with weft insertion.
Among the highlights are velour, corduroy, and plain upholstery fabrics alongside terry warp knits produced on tricot machines. The display will also include curtain and apparel fabrics from the latest TM WEFT technologies with expanded pattern possibilities through upgraded weft-repeat functions and additional weft ends.
Other featured developments include:
- Open mesh curtain solutions from the HKS 3-M EL PLUS
- Lightweight sports and athleisure fabrics produced on the HKS 2-SE with dense textile structures offering UV protection
- Fashion fabrics made with TENCEL™ Lyocell and Modal fibers with Micro Technology
- Shade nets developed on the new RS 2 Net machine
- Eyelash lace with four-way stretch produced on a TEXTRONIC® Multibar Jacquard Raschel machine
- Selected technical textile applications for the Turkish market
The company will also highlight the capabilities of its TEXTILE INNOVATION CENTER in Obertshausen, where manufacturers can test machines, develop products, and work on textile projects.
Focus on denim preparation and dyeing technologies
For warp preparation, KARL MAYER will present the PROWARP® sectional warping machine and the MULTI-MATIC warp sampling machine. Both technologies are already widely used in the Turkish textile sector.
In denim processing, the company will showcase its PRODYE® indigo dyeing systems for slasher and rope dyeing applications.
The PRODYE®-S system offers darker indigo shades using eight dyeing boxes while reducing dye bath volume. It also helps save up to 20% of hydrosulfite and caustic soda through an efficient indigo circulation system and closed dyeing vat design.
The PRODYE®-R system delivers darker shades with nine dyeing boxes and supports similar chemical savings. The machine also improves rebeaming productivity by around 15% to 20% through programmable coilers and controlled yarn tension during processing.
Through its ITM 2026 participation, KARL MAYER aims to support textile producers with practical manufacturing technologies, new textile ideas, and efficient production systems suited to current market conditions.
