INDA’s Mark Snider transitions from analyst role, will remain active in industry as a consultant
INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, has announced that Mark Snider will step down from his role as Chief Market and Industry Analyst as he prepares to relocate to France. After several years with the organization, Snider leaves a strong mark on INDA’s market intelligence and industry analysis work.
Since joining INDA, Snider has played an important role in helping members understand market trends across the nonwovens sector. His work focused on providing clear, data-based insights that supported business planning and informed the association’s advocacy efforts.
With more than 35 years of experience in nonwovens and engineered materials, Snider brought deep knowledge of global markets, economic trends, and sector-level developments. His analysis covered a wide range of areas within the industry, helping companies navigate changes in demand, supply chains, and material innovation.
Tony Fragnito, President of INDA, acknowledged Snider’s contribution to both the organization and the broader industry.
“Mark has made a significant and lasting contribution to INDA and to the nonwovens industry,” said Fragnito. “His analytical approach, global outlook, and thoughtful interpretation of market trends strengthened the insights we provide to our members. During his time at INDA, Snider was known for translating complex market data into practical insights for manufacturers, suppliers, and stakeholders across the nonwoven value chain. His reports and presentations helped industry leaders better understand shifts in raw materials, end-use demand, and economic factors influencing the sector.
While he is stepping away from his formal role at INDA, Snider will remain active in the industry. He plans to continue supporting the engineered fibers and fabrics sectors as a technical consultant.
Snider said he intends to stay closely connected with the industry that has shaped much of his professional career.
“While I am transitioning from my formal role at INDA, I am not stepping away from the industry that has been central to my professional life,” he said. “It has been a privilege to contribute to INDA’s mission and to work alongside such a dedicated community of professionals. I look forward to continuing to support industry growth and to staying connected with colleagues and partners around the world.”

Snider’s transition marks the end of one chapter at INDA, but his ongoing work as a consultant suggests his voice and experience will remain part of the nonwovens industry conversation.
