URMI Group from Bangladesh wins GU Excellent Factory Award 2026

The award was presented at the Fast Retailing Factory Conference 2026 in Tokyo by Tadashi Yanai, CEO of UNIQLO, to Asif Ashraf, Managing Director of URMI Group.
URMI Group’s UHM Limited stood out as the only apparel factory from Bangladesh among just four factories worldwide to receive this prestigious recognition in 2026. The award highlights exceptional achievements in areas including product quality, innovation, workplace standards, production flexibility, and sustainability.
Fast Retailing emphasized that the award aligns with its global commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting responsible production and sustainable growth in the apparel industry.
