DyStar appoints Ruan Cunfan to Board of Directors

DyStar Group has appointed Ruan Cunfan to its Board of Directors, effective 20 February 2026. The specialty chemical company said the move supports its plans for continued global growth and stronger governance.

Ruan Cunfan brings experience from his work with Zhejiang Longsheng Group and its related entities. He currently serves as Director and Assistant to the Chairman of Zhejiang Longsheng Group Co., Ltd., and also works as Assistant to the Chairman of Longsheng Group Holdings (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

He graduated from Claremont McKenna College in the United States with dual bachelor’s degrees in Economics & Accounting and Chemistry. Over the years, he has been involved in overseeing the group’s real estate investment strategy, along with operations and management activities.

DyStar said his appointment reflects its focus on strengthening leadership as the company continues expanding its international presence.

Ruan WeiXiang, Chairman of the Board of Directors at DyStar Group, said the board looks forward to working with the new member.

The appointment of Ruan Cunfan marks an important step in strengthening our Board for the future,” he said. “His experience and leadership will support DyStar as we continue our international development and pursue our long-term plans.”

Alongside this change, Yao Jianfang will step down from the Board. He has served as a board member since 2015.

During his time on the board, Yao contributed to the company’s strategic direction and supported the group through several stages of development. DyStar’s board and management thanked him for his years of service and guidance.

Xu Yalin, Managing Director, President and CEO of DyStar Group, welcomed the new appointment while acknowledging Yao’s role in the company’s progress.

We also thank Yao Jianfang for his contributions over the years and appreciate his continued support at the shareholder level.”

DyStar, which has more than a century of history in specialty chemicals and textile solutions, operates across key global markets and works closely with textile manufacturers, brands, and retailers.

The company said it remains focused on strengthening partnerships with industry stakeholders while continuing to develop products and services that support responsible manufacturing practices.

With the latest board change, DyStar aims to maintain continuity in leadership while bringing in new perspectives that can support its next stage of development.

The group said it will continue working on sustainability initiatives and operational improvements across its global network as part of its long-term strategy.
