ANDRITZ showcases nonwoven and technical textile solutions at CINTE 2026
ANDRITZ Nonwoven & Textile is showcasing a broad range of production technologies at CINTE 2026, taking place from September 1–3 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in China. The company is exhibiting at Hall 5, Booth W5-E01, where visitors can explore solutions for both durable nonwovens and technical textile applications.
Rather than focusing on a single machine, ANDRITZ is presenting technologies covering several stages of nonwoven production. Its portfolio at the exhibition addresses applications including wipes, hygiene, medical products, filtration, automotive materials, geotextiles, synthetic leather substrates and coating substrates.
One of the key highlights is the ANDRITZ X-Pro™ crosslapper, designed for needlepunch and spunlace production lines. The machine can operate at speeds of up to 250 metres per minute and uses an X-path design to improve fibre control and web overlap. ANDRITZ says the system is designed to maintain web quality and homogeneity while increasing throughput. It can also be integrated with the company’s ProWin™ profile correction system.
The company is also presenting its A-Type needleloom, aimed at demanding applications such as synthetic leather, filtration and automotive materials. The technology focuses on higher throughput, improved needling performance and reliable operation.
For wipes and hygiene products, ANDRITZ is highlighting spunlace, Wetlace™, air-through bonding and airlaid technologies. These solutions are used for products ranging from dry and wet wipes to hygiene top sheets, acquisition and distribution layers and medical nonwovens.
For more durable applications, the portfolio includes needlepunch, airlay and wetlaid technologies for filtration, geotextiles, automotive products, synthetic leather and coating substrates. Visitors can also examine individual process technologies covering fibre preparation, web forming, crosslapping, bonding, needlepunching and finishing.
Beyond machinery, ANDRITZ is using CINTE 2026 to discuss service and lifecycle support, including inspections, upgrades, rebuilds, process optimisation, spare parts and digital services. Its local Chinese teams also provide sales, manufacturing and service support to customers in the region.
With CINTE 2026 bringing together the technical textile and nonwoven sectors in Shanghai, ANDRITZ is using the exhibition to demonstrate how different production technologies can address the varied requirements of today’s nonwoven manufacturers.
