Veja introduces repair-driven after-sales service to boost sustainability

Veja, the sustainable sneaker brand, is further cementing its commitment to circular fashion with a new after-sales service that focuses on repairs. In collaboration with Prolong, an aftercare platform, Veja is offering a tech-driven service that allows customers to track their shoes throughout the repair process. This service is currently available in France, with plans to expand internationally.
The new initiative aligns with Veja’s long-standing goal of prolonging the life of its products. By emphasizing repair over replacement, the French brand is prioritizing sustainability and integrating circularity into its business model. Customers will be able to follow each stage of the repair process, from drop-off to re-delivery, thanks to the transparency provided by the Prolong platform.
The repair service, which was soft-launched in March 2025, is expected to handle all after-sales needs by the end of the year in France. Veja reports that more than 50,000 pairs of shoes have already been mended as part of the brand’s investment in in-house aftercare.
Veja was founded in 2005 with a mission to reduce the environmental impact of its products. The company sources natural rubber directly from communities in the Amazon jungle, aiming to reduce water, energy, and emissions.
Through its partnership with Prolong, Veja combines its sustainability-driven ethos with Prolong’s B2B SaaS platform, which simplifies the aftercare process for businesses in the fashion and lifestyle sector. The platform integrates repairs, returns, refunds, and product care, offering a seamless experience for customers across various channels and markets.
