Vandewiele brings integrated carpet and textile technologies to ICFE 2026

At the 2026 Istanbul Carpet & Flooring Expo, Vandewiele Group will present a full range of technologies that cover spinning, weaving, tufting, carpet manufacturing and digital finishing. The company’s message is clear: when the different steps of production work together, manufacturers gain better control over quality, speed and resource use.

Under the theme “Textile Innovations Together,” Vandewiele highlights how its machines and partner brands form one connected chain from yarn creation to finished carpet.

RCF high-speed weaving and Fast Creel – a smoother path to higher output

The RCF weaving machine now operates up to 225 RPM, giving producers more speed without compromising fabric quality. When paired with the Fast Creel system, bobbin changes can be completed while the machine keeps running.

This means:
• Less downtime
• Lower waste
• Higher, steadier productivity
• Better yarn handling and fewer breaks

Fast Creel replaces traditional pile droppers and weights, which also lightens the daily workload for operators through automatic threading and smarter bobbin use.

HST tufting – combining speed with digital precision

Vandewiele’s High Speed Tuft (HST) platform remains one of the fastest tufting systems available, reaching 2500 RPM for loop pile and 2000 RPM for cut pile carpets.

The platform uses fully digital motion control, allowing operators to store design settings and switch patterns instantly. This shortens changeover time and gives designers more freedom through features such as:
• Individual Looper/Hook Drive
• Optional sliding needlebars

The machine integrates the Vandewiele Tufting Sensor (VTS), a piezoelectric yarn-break detection system built into the machine interface. It improves reliability without needing extra hardware.

HCE3+1500 – better results for handlook carpets

For manufacturers focused on handlook styles, the HCE3+1500 brings new creative and technical strengths. It supports smooth pole transitions, fresh binding options and the ability to “write” directly into the carpet without mirror effects.

Key benefits include:
• Wider design possibilities
• Cleaner, more refined appearance
• Lower yarn consumption
• Better productivity in pointing cors

The machine helps producers achieve the character of handlook carpets while keeping material use and production time under control.

Savio Lybra Smartspinner® – adding spinning strength to the value chain

Savio will present the Lybra Smartspinner®, an air-jet spinning system designed for flexibility, efficiency and steady yarn quality. By being part of Vandewiele’s wider technology family, Lybra connects directly with weaving, tufting and finishing systems.

This coordinated approach supports industry needs such as:
• Better quality flow from yarn to final carpet
• Lower energy use through air-jet spinning
• A more efficient and consistent production chain

Visitors will see how Lybra fits naturally into Vandewiele’s goal of creating a smoother and more sustainable production ecosystem for carpets and flooring. At Hall 3 – Stand 332B
