Tonello and Pacific Jeans celebrate the delivery of the 10,000th machine

The partnership began in the early 1990s when Mr. M. Nasir Uddin, the visionary founder of Pacific Jeans, saw the potential of innovation to transform the garment industry in Bangladesh. At a time when the denim industry in Asia was still in its early stages, Pacific Jeans became the first company in the region to adopt Tonello’s technologies, starting with the G1 360 machine. This collaboration, sparked by Mr. Nasir Uddin and Mr. Flavio Tonello, opened new doors, setting a standard of excellence and forward-thinking that would shape the market for years to come.
Today, the relationship continues with the next generation. Syed M. Tanvir and Syed M. Tahmir, the sons of Nasir Uddin, now lead Pacific Jeans alongside Alice Tonello and the Tonello team. They work together to strengthen and expand the partnership, built on shared values of exploration, innovation, and responsibility. Over the decades, their collaboration has evolved, not just professionally, but through a deep bond of mutual trust and respect between the two families.
