Pure-Fiber expands spinning capacity with Trützschler technology

Pure-Fiber Textile Technology Co. Ltd., one of China’s leading producers of Muratec Vortex Spun (MVS) yarns, is making significant strides in its expansion efforts. Known for operating the world’s largest blow room using Trützschler bale-openers, Pure-Fiber is building two new spinning plants and has recently signed a major contract with Trützschler for an additional full spinning preparation line. The deal includes more than 500 machines, such as blow room equipment, carding machines, and draw frames.

The partnership between Pure-Fiber and Trützschler dates back to 2015, and this latest milestone was marked with a grand signing ceremony in Shanghai in January 2025. This collaboration has consistently focused on improving the quality and productivity of MVS yarns, with Pure-Fiber exclusively using Trützschler’s spinning preparation equipment in its operations.

As part of the agreement, Pure-Fiber will acquire another 168 TC 15 cards, 264 breaker and finisher draw frame heads, along with additional blow room equipment from Trützschler. This expands on the 144 TC 15 cards the company already purchased in 2023. The new machines will be installed in a new spinning facility in Xuzhou, which, once completed, will house 312 carding machines and produce more than 200,000 tons of yarn annually.

A key part of the expansion includes a massive blow room line featuring eight Trützschler bale openers. This system is essential for maintaining high-quality MVS yarn, with its low waste cotton rates, energy efficiency, and high speeds. The full set of Trützschler equipment – including blow room, carding, and draw frame systems – lays a strong foundation for high-quality yarn production in the MVS process.
