Groz-Beckert to showcase practical solutions for knitting, weaving, sewing and spinning at Igatex 2026

From 15–18 October 2026, Groz-Beckert will participate in Igatex 2026 in Pakistan, presenting its latest solutions for knitting, weaving, sewing and spinning. Visitors can meet the company at Hall 1, Booth A-1-08, where the focus will be on improving production efficiency, process reliability and product quality across different stages of textile manufacturing.

The exhibition will feature new needle technologies, weaving accessories, digital sewing tools and spinning components designed to help manufacturers achieve consistent production while reducing downtime and maintenance requirements.

Knitting solutions focused on energy savings and fabric quality

In the Circular Knitting segment, Groz-Beckert will introduce the LCmax™, a new generation of energy-saving knitting needles. The needle features a wave-shaped shank geometry that reduces friction during operation, helping lower energy consumption while supporting smooth machine performance and easier handling.

For Flat Knitting, the company will present two needle solutions developed for specific applications.

The SAN™ TT is designed for very tight loop formation, making it suitable for technical and medical textiles where precision is essential.

The SAN™ FY is intended for processing uneven effect yarns. It helps maintain an even fabric appearance when working with textured or irregular yarns that are often challenging to knit consistently.

Manufacturers in the Legwear sector can also explore the dur™ needle range, developed for long service life and accurate knitting in fine hosiery production.

In Warp Knitting, Groz-Beckert will display its expanding module portfolio, offering improved stability and precise loop formation for demanding knitting applications.

Weaving accessories designed for reliable fabric production

For the weaving industry, Groz-Beckert will present a complete range of weaving accessories, including heald frames, healds, warp stop motions, drop wires and reeds.

These products are compatible with major weaving machine brands and support the production of fashion fabrics, home textiles and technical textiles.

Special attention will be given to the company’s reeds, which are engineered to provide accurate thread guidance across a wide range of weaving conditions. Whether producing fabrics at high speeds or manufacturing technical textiles with complex structures, the reeds help maintain stable weaving performance and fabric quality.

The company will also highlight its global service network, which supports customers with product availability and technical assistance in different markets.

Digital tools and specialised needles for sewing operations

The Sewing product area combines sewing machine needles with digital solutions that help manufacturers manage needle usage more efficiently.

One of the main highlights is INH 2.0 (Ideal Needle Handling), an upgraded digital quality management system covering the complete needle lifecycle inside a sewing factory. From needle allocation and production tracking to replacement and recycling, the platform records every stage digitally.

The system also helps manufacturers document needle changes and needle breakages, supporting compliance requirements while improving production transparency. Additional software functions simplify inventory control, automate manual processes and integrate with existing factory IT systems.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the Needle Finder, a digital tool that recommends suitable sewing machine needles based on different sewing applications. Alongside this, the Groz-Beckert Sewing video series provides practical guidance on selecting and using industrial sewing needles.

On the product side, Groz-Beckert will showcase its SAN™ special application needles, developed for demanding sewing processes involving technical textiles, woven fabrics and delicate materials. Selected needle variants feature the GEBEDUR™ coating, which improves wear resistance, particularly around the needle point.

Another product on display will be the Litespeed™ needle, developed for high-speed sewing and applications involving dense or multi-layer materials. Its geometry is designed to reduce the effects of heat generated during sewing while supporting consistent stitch quality.

Spinning components built for longer operating life

In the Spinning segment, Groz-Beckert will introduce a maintenance-free cylinder wire that offers longer service life while reducing maintenance costs.

The company will also display upgraded revolving tops developed for fine yarn production and stationary flats featuring a newly designed aluminium profile. These components are intended to provide consistent fibre processing, improved durability and dependable performance throughout spinning operations.

Supporting efficient textile manufacturing

At Igatex 2026, Groz-Beckert will present solutions covering every major stage of textile production from knitting and weaving to sewing and spinning. Alongside new products, the company will demonstrate how digital tools, specialized components and precision-engineered accessories can help manufacturers improve production consistency, reduce maintenance and support efficient factory operations.
