Groz-Beckert to present knitting, weaving and nonwovens solutions at ITM 2026

At ITM 2026 in Istanbul, Groz-Beckert will showcase a wide range of developments for the knitting, weaving and nonwovens sectors. The company will exhibit from June 9 to 13 in Hall 3, Booth 304B, focusing on practical solutions designed to improve efficiency, precision and production flexibility.

Focus on energy efficiency in knitting

In the Circular Knitting segment, Groz-Beckert will introduce the LCmax™, a new generation of energy-saving needles. The needle features a wave-shaped shank geometry developed to reduce friction during operation. According to the company, this design supports lower energy consumption while maintaining stable machine performance and easier handling for operators.

For Flat Knitting applications, two specialized needle solutions will be highlighted. The SAN™ TT has been developed for very tight loop formations, making it suitable for technical textiles and medical textile production where accuracy is critical. The SAN™ FY is designed for processing uneven effect yarns and helps maintain a clean and consistent fabric appearance, even in more complex knitting structures.

In the Legwear segment, visitors will see the dur™ needles, which are known for long service life and precision in fine hosiery manufacturing.

Warp Knitting solutions will also be part of the presentation. Groz-Beckert plans to showcase its growing module portfolio aimed at improving stability and precision in loop formation processes.

Weaving solutions aimed at faster preparation

For the Weaving sector, Groz-Beckert will demonstrate the KnotMaster tying machine. The system has been developed to support faster warp changes and shorter preparation times through a modular and compact machine design.

The company says the KnotMaster can process both standard and demanding applications, including complex weaving patterns and upholstery yarns. Live demonstrations will take place at the booth during the exhibition.

Alongside the KnotMaster, the company will present its range of reeds, healds and drop wires for different weaving requirements.

Another featured solution is the PosiLeno® system for leno weaving. The system is designed to offer flexible pattern creation, controlled shed formation movements and simplified installation for weaving mills.

Nonwovens segment to highlight automation and needle developments

In the Nonwovens product area, Groz-Beckert will present several new developments focused on production efficiency and process optimization.

Among the highlights is a newly developed needle designed to reduce insertion and removal times during production. The company will also introduce its Digital Ecosystem, which supports automation and production monitoring for nonwovens manufacturers.
