FreyZein®, based in Graz with a research facility in Dornbirn, Austria, is a material science company specializing in 100% cellulose-based, high-performance textile solutions. The company is known for its mission to help eliminate plastics from outdoor apparel, aligning with growing sustainability demands in the textile industry.

During the visit, discussions centered on the industrial scalability of FreyZein®’s innovative nonwoven materials and the potential establishment of a pilot production facility to support future commercial applications. The company is actively seeking partnerships with EU-based organizations to drive these developments forward.
