Archroma, a global supplier of specialty chemicals with a strong focus on sustainable solutions, has announced a new partnership with Lilienweiss to strengthen its Color Management services across Europe. From January 2026, Lilienweiss will begin offering Archroma Color Management solutions throughout the region.
Under the agreement, Lilienweiss will act as a direct distributor for Europe and provide custom color standards for brands, retailers, suppliers, and vendors. This local presence is expected to shorten lead times, reduce shipping costs, and make it easier for European customers to access Archroma Color Management’s full portfolio. This includes the award-winning Color Atlas by Archroma®, supported by Lilienweiss’ team of regional specialists.
Chris Hipps, Head of Archroma Color Management, said the partnership is built on a shared goal. Both companies aim to help brands and designers reduce the time and cost involved in color development while keeping environmental impact in check. By offering local access to color management solutions, customers can work faster and more efficiently, from design to production, without relying on long-distance logistics.
The color management service offered through this partnership is designed to support sustainable and practical color development. It allows brands and designers to focus on creative direction, performance needs, and sustainability targets, while ensuring that color intent is clearly communicated and accurately reproduced at the mill. This reduces rework and helps keep production on schedule.
Lilienweiss brings a strong technical setup to the collaboration. Based in Stuttgart, it is the only textile color management service provider in Europe with both a dyeing laboratory and in-house color standard production. This close link between inspiration, development, and production teams is especially relevant for Europe’s fashion, home, and textile sectors.
Peter Maier, CEO and Head of Color Management at Lilienweiss, highlighted the scale of the combined offering. Together, Archroma and Lilienweiss will provide an extensive network for color management, covering color development, validated standards, digital and physical color libraries, and on-site technical support. He noted that partnering with Archroma allows Lilienweiss to offer a complete and reliable color management service to customers across Europe.
With this partnership, Archroma strengthens its European footprint, while Lilienweiss expands its service scope. For brands and suppliers, the result is simpler access to consistent, well-managed color solutions that fit both commercial and sustainability goals.
